Type6-A Chamfering type

For mixed structures where concrete rebars must be welded to the steel structure, BARTEC® weldable coupelrs
must be used. This is a nut made of weldable grade steel with a large chamfer suitable for single bevel butt
welding. They are available for rebar diameters from 12 to 40

Weldable coupelrs are made from a steel grade whose equivalent carbon is around 0.50. They can be welded by
manual metal arc welding(Shielded metal arc welding) with common coated electrodes.

There are two designs of this type weldable coupler, one is open at the end of the coupler, and the other is not
open at the end of the coupler.

It adopts weldable 45C and weldable type that is completely consistent with the steel bar and steel material.

The surface conditions of the couplers and anchor plate are comply with ACI 318(1999)§7.4.2, ACI 349 (1985) §7.4, ASME Section III Division
